Fieldhouse Project
The Fieldhouse Project has taken great strides from 2005 to 2007. In October 2004, the Highland Rugby Club signed a 20 year lease for the old Ag building adjacent to Victoria Park in Fergus. This led to the beginning of our official fundraising campaign, construction, and campaigning for partners in the project.

Fundraisers
The following fundraisers are helping to raise money for the Fieldhouse construction project:
- May 27th & 28th Big Yard Sale at the fieldhouse
- July 2006 - BBQ and Piano smash
- August 2006 - Steak Dinner at the fieldhouse

A dedicated group of volunteers have worked 1000’s of hours in the evening and on Sundays to accomplish this work.

Ontario Trillium Grant
Our Trillium Grant Application was submitted by the November 1, 2005 deadline. This document is a comprehensive effort that took countless hours of work to coordinate.
We are pleased to announce that we have been accepted for funding by the Ontario Trillium Foundation for $75,000 to the Fieldhouse Project.
