Highland U18 Women Selected to Canada Long List

Two of Highland's very own Under-18 women, Taylor Price and Carina Fascinato, have been named to the long list for the Under 18 Canada women's team.

Fascinato just finished her first season with Highland. The flanker and center was an integral member of the Under-18 Women's team regularly demonstrating her strength and speed. She also played for the Senior Women and the Ontario Under-16 Storm. In September, Fascinato will be starting grade 11 at St. Mary's High School in Owen Sound.

Price has has played three years with Highland and is a valued member to the former and current Under-18 teams. Like Fascinato, this flanker/center is known for her dynamic play. Price has competed with the Ontario Storm and NRU 7s and 15s teams, where this past summer she competed with the Under-18 Ontario Storm. Price has just finished high school at Orangeville District Secondary School.

Highland is very proud of these two young women in their rugby pursuits and wish them luck at the camp in October and the regional camps in January.
